Is white the new black?

Ikea is a bit of a phenomenon like McDonalds: everyone knows it and almost every country has at least one. They have some items which I raise my eyebrows to, but also things I love. Unfortunely, and this might just be me, I'm usually dissapointed when I see a sofa in real life. It looks perfect in the catalogue but in the warehouse it looks old, sacked, sat on by too many people. We do really need a new sofa at home and with every good intention we visit Ikea only to come back empty handed. That is too say without a sofa.I'm usually not able to resist a nice mug or blanket *Ü*

All that said I LOVE browsing through their catalogue and gathering inspiration. Here are some of my favourite living rooms.
