Itching Hands

Insipred by 'desire to inspire' I went in search of a nice property in Denmark, when I found this house. As soon as I saw it fell in love! It needs a lot of TLC but ooooh! The magic I could do with this house! If only I had the money to buy.. I thought. Then I remembered the lottery ticket I bought... you can win a lot of money so I was thinking... when (I need to stay positive) I win 1 million I will buy this house. That's my promise. So keep your fingers and toes crossed for coming Tuesday. That I may wave my magic wand over this lovely home. Wouldn't it make a perfect Bed & Breakfast?

The house! Just imagine what you could do with it. Take the ivy away (it's pretty but bad for the construction of your house). Sand it down then I would probably paint it yellow as I have seen in the beautiful town of Skagen, making it sunny and welcoming. A lovely limestone garden path surrounded by a hedge of lavender towards the front door. The deep purple and the yellow house will contrast beautifully.

Even just with a lick of white paint the room will look transformed. By the looks of it the last time it was painted was a very long time ago. If possible I'd remove the window and put in French doors so the light streaming in will make the room look bigger and brighter.

I actually quite like the study as it is *blush*. It is like stepping back in time.

New tiling, a new stove, paint the ceiling and hide the pipes. Seeing as it quite a small kitchen it would be nice if you could extent it by adding a conservatory.

Not the nicest bathroom, is it? I'd change pretty much everything. Hide away the pipes, it probably need re-plumbing, new tiles. I think everything white seeing as it is a small room and adding a bit of colour with a flowery blind =)

Isa! Ive just noticed this blog on Silvia's page. It's gorgeous, just like your garden party! So many things on here I love. This house would look so lovely with your inspired ideas! I especially love the blind you would put in the newly white bathroom :)
