The Isabella Stool

I came across this stool made by Ryan Frank. Love it or hate it, it has my name so I want to like it *Ü*
'Isabella', is totem pole style stacking stool inspired by the traditional carved seating found in many African countries. Wanting to avoid the use of exotic hardwood, a solid section of strawboard has been used for the structure. The straw profile is then wrapped in felt for a comfortable, brightly coloured and tactile product.

If you don't know strawboard is made of compressed straw so it's very enviroment friendly. The felted wrap is to make the stool more comfortable and it gives the stools some funky colours!
